Artist Biography and Mission
Brittany Rowe is a PCNW based artist whose work is a vivid expression of emotion, color, and connection. With over 30 years of artistic experience and a professional background in the veterinary and zoological fields, her creations are deeply rooted in a lifelong bond with animals and nature. Her vibrant portraits and wildlife paintings—often centered on beloved pets—capture not just likeness, but soul, using bright, expressive palettes influenced by post-impressionism and her rare gift of tetrachromia; allowing her to perceive a wider range of colors.
Brittany’s recent work includes nature-inspired sculpture crafted from foraged materials, bone, and botanical elements. Whether painting in acrylic, oil, or charcoal, or building organic forms, her aim is always to evoke emotion—celebrating the human-animal bond, honoring memory, and reflecting the quiet beauty of the wild.
Formally trained from a young age, Brittany has exhibited in juried shows and galleries across the country. Her work is available as original pieces, prints, stickers, coasters, and custom commissions. Every creation, from playful gifts to heartfelt memorials, carries the depth of her vision and the love behind it.
